On Behalf of ECO of London,
CB Services carried out the replacement of the existing 1200 amp switchboard which was of age where it was unsupportable and non-compliant. We were responsible for design development, installation and commissioning of the new 1200 amp supply LV switchboard. The programme was 7 Days.
The works included the following:
• Intrusive site surveys to include electrical testing to all sub main circuits supplied from the existing switch panel.
• Manage the design of the new panel to ensure all existing cables & switches where installed to suit existing cable lengths as far as possible.
• Installation of temporary light and small power to safety critical circuits within the labs.
• Isolation, disconnection, strip out and removal of the existing LV switchboard.
• Installation of new LV switchboard.
• Testing and commissioning of new LV switch board including testing of all connected circuits and EPO contactors/BMS connections.
• O&M documentation.
